If you are visiting India for work, we recommend taking a few days extra to explore the myriad of sights, which are easily accessible from India’s great cities. This luxury private journey starts with a chauffeured journey from India’s cosmopolitan capital Delhi to Agra, where you’ll visit the breath-taking Taj Mahal. Then head to the vibrant ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur with its splendid architecture and fantastic shopping. Finish in Delhi with a fascinating private guided tour of the city’s top sights, from the souk-like bazaars of Old Delhi to the tree-lined colonial avenues of New Delhi. Should your work take you to Mumbai instead, we can also organize a short break from there, including a fabulous beach holiday to Goa.


Day 1


This morning, you'll be chauffeured to Agra for a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the world’s most beautiful buildings, which was built as a monument to eternal love by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife who dies giving birth to their 14th child. Marvel at the interiors which have several different colored stones crushed and inlaid in the floral details on the marble walls and gateways. The Taj Mahal is known for reflecting pastel colored hues with the play of sunlight on its surfaces throughout the day. Continue on to Rajasthan’s colorful capital Jaipur and spend the rest of the day relaxing at your luxury hotel. Choose between Rambagh Palace, one of India’s great palace hotels, or leading heritage hotel The Raj Palace.

Please note: you can start this journey on any day however the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.


Day 2


Today, you’ll be discovering the best of Jaipur. Led by a local expert, you’ll begin In the afternoon, make your way on elephant back to the splendid 17th-century Amber Fort. Thereafter, explore the City Palace and its private rooms then continue on for a photo-stop at the stunning Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)and a visit to the Jantar Mantar observatory. Spend the afternoon in the bazaars and emporiums of Jaipur. 


Day 3


Leave Jaipur early this morning to be driven back to Delhi, where you’ll check into the Lodhi Hotel, set in seven verdant acres on the fringes of Lutyens’ Delhi. The enticing boutiques of Khan Market are a short drive away and very much worth a browse. In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Old and New Delhi, including Humayun’s Tomb, which inspired the Taj Mahal. End with a thrilling cycle-rickshaw ride through the bustling bazaars of Chandni Chowk.


Day 4


Today, your luxury private journey ends. Transfer to Delhi airport in time for your onward flight.
