This morning, you’ll be chauffeured to Agra for a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the world\u2019s most beautiful buildings, which was built as a monument to eternal love by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife who dies giving birth to their 14th child. Marvel at the interiors which have several different colored stones crushed and inlaid in the floral details on the marble walls and gateways. The Taj Mahal is known for reflecting pastel colored hues with the play of sunlight on its surfaces throughout the day. Continue on to Rajasthan\u2019s colorful capital Jaipur and spend the rest of the day relaxing at your luxury hotel. Choose between Rambagh Palace, one of India\u2019s great palace hotels, or leading heritage hotel The Raj Palace.<\/p>\n

Today, you\u2019ll be discovering the best of Jaipur. Led by a local expert, you\u2019ll begin In the afternoon, make your way on elephant back to the splendid 17th-century Amber Fort. Thereafter, explore the City Palace and its private rooms then continue on for a photo-stop at the stunning Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)and a visit to the Jantar Mantar observatory. Spend the afternoon in the bazaars and emporiums of Jaipur.<\/p>\n
Leave Jaipur early this morning to be driven back to Delhi, where you\u2019ll check into the Lodhi Hotel, set in seven verdant acres on the fringes of Lutyens\u2019 Delhi. The enticing boutiques of Khan Market are a short drive away and very much worth a browse. In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Old and New Delhi, including Humayun\u2019s Tomb, which inspired the Taj Mahal. End with a thrilling cycle-rickshaw ride through the bustling bazaars of Chandni Chowk.<\/p>\n
